It's going to be the end of Semester 1 already. Time really flies... And it's going to be Christmas! The time of the year when u meet up with people whom you havent seen for a very long time.

Yesterday, the fac. held a pre-Christmas celebration. I think it was rather good. It's refreshing to take your mind off the books for a little while. Just before the event, I helped Jen make this mash potato dish. Hmm..I can remember there's salt, pepper, butter, mushrooms...and.... of course..potatoes. I thought it was very easy and quick to make. To be honest, it's the first time I've ever helped make this...lol. To the guyz who ate it...you should be very honoured..i dun make this often..hahaha.... *thick-skinned*

Anyway, ruxin, el and I put up this mini-spoof type of performance for the class. It comprised 3 Christmassy songs. We changed the lyrics (very medically-oriented) but the tunes were the same : that of "silent night", "Jingle bells" and "Rudolph the red nose". It was great fun watching them laugh. I mean, we were a little nervous the joke wouldnt work out. We were afraid everything will turn out to be ...... ..."RX-like" corniness. But in the end, everybody had a good laugh over it...which was exactly as planned...hahah....the only thing unplanned was my singing..... bahh..

Watched Love Actually, which I thought was really funny. And the English subtitles like "dog barking in the distance" and "people walking hurriedly"......wat on earth is that for??? lol. it was really hilarious but romantic in some ways.
