HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006

2005 was filled with a lotta tests (literally I think)..haha. but no..i mean i think I've survived pretty well despite all the difficulties I've had; all the disappointments, emotionally; all the stress... all the expectations. But I shall work harder this year. I hope this year will be much better than the previous one. Though I have my doubts. But I shall be optimistic.....hah. yes. 2006 will be a better year for me.

Studying on new year's eve. The library closed earlier than usual. It's the first time I've heard someone talking over the PA system. It's the first time I've stayed until the lib closed..haa..despite my regular visits to the library.

I still think they shouldnt replace the library with some computer center or something. Why would they wanna make it smaller? I would gladly pay extra if they make it as big as the central librarry (haa..if i have the money) And now we have to go to Science library?? SO saddd... :( Where will I go from here? Where??!!!

U know..maybe we could all gather in front of the main entrance of the library and block the path of the bulldozer so it cant tear the building down. If they wanna tear down the library, they HAVE to go THROUGH us... literally. Who will join me?? (guess not...bahh)

Anyway, went down to Orchard Rd. Yes... go back and read the 2 words "Orchard" & "Road". And i din just pass by it k. I went down to "settle" in it. There were a lotta ppl there..but the lights of orchard wasnt really tat spectacular..... budget cut maybe..or like wat Jayne said, so they could use it for Chinese New Year as well (tear it down and bring it to chinatown). I saw a black Lamborghini there...mann..it looked so "poser" & "arrogant" on the podium lahh..but seriously....it had every right to be. It was really really very beautiful..aerodynamic.... everybody was like staring at it..aha... maybe..just maybe I'll get my hands on one. I'll be this Cool doctor..lol.

Accompanied Jayne to find her W&G merchandise, which was much of a disappointment cos we couldnt find any. Not even in this big toy store called Toys R Us (first time went there too!). And not only that, the staff doesnt think the merchandise would come in at all. Seems like nobody gives a damn about W&G...which is saddd. Maybe it's cos not many ppl can relate to the unique British humour in a cartoon setting. So it isnt vert appealing. Maybe after this big W&G movie, ppl will start to take notice of it. I think it has actually been around for like wat.. 20? 30 yrs or sth? I mean I saw the short films and the picture quality reminds me of the 70s era.

Ah well...reality strikes again. CAs looming. I'm feeling as jittery as a chicken about to lay an egg. But I shall be strong........cos I still love medicine.
